![]() ![]() Though, as we may say that HS still does have it's own universe, the plot of 2021 was extremely weak. That all gets even more impressive in comparison of the failure know as BfA. I also hugely liked the flavour of Galakrond hero cards changing their art to more impressive as they are gaining more and more power. Also it had the strong built-up with the "defeated villains of the past". Boom bomb warrior (to think of it, bomb warrior is actually ruining the highlander synergy with it's bombs, it may be argued is it balanced or not, but it's so hilarious lore wise). I see this as an extremely good thing for the players involvement in game, like you're not just playing random stuff, you're fighting to save Azeroth with your highlander Reno mage, or you're fighting to bomb it into the dust with your Dr. Year of the Dragon was magnificent for the Hearthstone firstly because of the straight plotline from the first to the last expansion of the year. I assume balance changes will happen soon and things will get better though. ![]() Is it out of hand right now? Yeah in some ways, especially with a couple of specific decks. "Heh, greetings! Armor up! How long can this go on?" So I get that they print more burst and combo oriented win conditions they want you to find a way to end the game. The community literally meme'd on how bad it was back in the day. They did say next patch they plan on spicy changes and slowing the game down a little, but they also mentioned in the past they want to stay away from metas of slow attrition. It must be tough, and it will never be perfectly balanced. And I don't think I have to talk about why too much aggro or burn can get out of hand. Problem is if that gets too good, we get a solitaire style meta. ![]() People want more creative ways to end the game instead of just pure aggro our value to fatigue, so they implement combo oriented win conditions. People beg blizzard for more control tools, but if that gets out of hand, we can see half hour to hour long games. ![]() Maybe I'm alone with this feeling in which case I apologize.įinding that balance in average game length I assume is quite difficult. How is that fun? I'm sorry for the rant but hearthstone seems to be getting a little silly with these decks. Our hp is 30 and i can be at 20 hp around turn 6 or 7 and die in one round. I remember when a fucking 6/2 Leeroy Jenkins was everybody's win condition. I'm playing pure blood paladin right now and it can really only pop off on turn 8 after you get your invitations but there are so many decks that take you out by 6 or 7 its ridiculous. If a frost DK gets perfect draw are you just fucked regardless if you get perfect draw? I feel like control decks are rampant right now. Are people happy with this? I'm not a fan of games lasting forever where you run out of cards but this is ridiculous. I feel like there are many decks that have win conditions by turn 6 or 7. I'm an on again off again hearthstone player since it's launch and I may have missed a few seasons but the meta seems so ridiculous right now.
